"Empowering Leaders in the Public Sector"
Scott Stevenson, Special Advisor for Real Property at Public Services and Procurement Canada.
Scott recently completed an action-research project on leadership and organizational change as a Public Servant in Residence at the University of Ottawa, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Scott will share his insights on the nature of change, organizational transformation, and leadership in the public sector. His bottom-line observation is that leadership should be part of what defines being a professional public servant.
An interactive panel of Public Sector guests will follow the presentation by exploring these topics, featuring experiences, insights and tangible advice, facilitated by CareerJoy Head Coach, Alan Kearns.
Panelists will include:
- - Robert Peck, Global Affairs Canada. Bob is former Ambassador to Greece and is currently Special Advisor to the FSP.
- - Alison Campbell, Employment Social Development Canada. Alison is Director of Corporate Services.
- - Marianne Phillips. City of Ottawa. Marianne is the Director of Human Resources.
- - Paul Crookall, Executive Director, NCR, Excellence Canada.
