Event description

Description

Small Print Toronto will be back again with Cracking the Case, a one-time session full of fun with a leading mystery author for young readers. Youth become sleuths and go on a scavenger hunt to unearth clues, and then compose an ending to the mystery tale based on what they find! Everyone will get a printed copy of the story they create.

The 519’s Youth Action and Arts Space offers fun, friends and cool opportunities for a few hours two Saturdays per month, excepting January, September, July and August.

6 - 9 years old: Every first & third Saturday of the month, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

10 - 15 years old: Every first & third Saturday of the month, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The 519 is collaborating with community-based arts educators to facilitate a program of arts-based activities with queer, trans, and gender independent kids and the kids of queer and trans families.

The goal is to offer a variety of arts-based programming for young people between the ages of 6-15 in a safe and affirming environment that is free and accessible to the community.
