About this Event

Continuing this informal lecture series, each month guest speakers present on different aspects of contemporary art and practice.

Curating Now

How is culture produced, mediated and interpreted in our contemporary moment, and to what extent will it function as an accurate reflection of today?

Deliberating on this line of inquiry into how we curate in the Now, that which is of the Now, Kanika Anand shares her observations and learnings of working on curatorial projects that explore subjects ranging from the performative nature of selfies, to the cultural threads woven to frame and communicate a certain social fabric. Anand will also speak of the role of curatorial writing and editing in supporting artists’ voices and navigating pedagogical formats, while contributing to a diverse archive of creative energies and partnerships.

This talk will happen on Zoom.
