Meet our Facilitator: Charles Tweed of Tweedia
After a stint chasing a rig across western Canada, Charles knew it was important to pursue his true passion. Following the completion of his education at Assiniboine Community College, he worked at several newspapers in Alberta and Saskatchewan with the goal of getting closer to home — Westman.
Throughout his career, he was fortunate to wear several hats — emcee, play-by-play voice, journalist, public speaker, photographer and social media coordinator — and he takes pride in adapting to and learning new technologies.
After working his way up from reporter to city editor at The Brandon Sun, Charles knew it was time for another challenge. Now, he puts his ability to create, develop and execute marketing strategies to work for businesses on social media.
Some of the brands that Tweedia works with include: Royal LePage Brandon, Precision Toyota, and Assiniboine Community College.
