Our Instructor, Livi De Rooy (E-RYT 200) Will walk with you down the historic path, discussing the rich cultural origins, and how Japa Malas have played a part in many cultures as part of there ritual in prayer and meditation.

During our workshop, we will discuss the benefits of meditation, and delve specifically into the benefits and how’s of utilizing a chanting meditation. Where the vibration of sacred mantras in ones practice are known to bring inner introspect and peace to the mind.

A simple explanation of the Japa Malas is cord strung with 108 beads used to count prayers or mantras in ones daily practice. Our workshop will help build foundational pieces of your mediation practice, as we we've our own personal Japa Malas from sacred energetic stones.
