About the organizer
Welcome to Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design where creativity, craftsmanship, beauty, and function find expression in the work of Cape Breton artisans. Here you'll find craft incorporating centuries-old techniques and designs alongside conceptual contemporary pieces. All are exceptional for their quality and timelessness.
In June of 2007 the Centre moved to its new home at 322 Charlotte Street, Sydney, Nova Scotia. The new facility houses a pottery studio, glass and jewellery studio, weaving studio, an art studio and a multipurpuse room - all on the lower level. The second floor boasts a well appointed gallery space that is spacious, well lit and features some of the finest craft and art produced on Cape Breton Island.
