Metcalf Creative Strategies Incubator
2016 Cohort Public Sharing:
Providing greater opportunities for artistic work to achieve its potential

The Metcalf Foundation invites you to celebrate three years of remarkable strategic work by six Toronto-based organizations representing the third cohort of the Creative Strategies Incubator.

Join us as each company provides a sneak peak into their initiatives and the outcomes – positive, unexpected, or otherwise – that emerged in response to their efforts to explore the potential of their artistic work.

Deeply committed to shared learning as a tool for growth and transformation, the funded companies — Art of Time Ensemble, The Musical Stage Company, Native Earth Performing Arts, Public Recordings Performance Projects, Toronto Dance Theatre, and Volcano Theatre — will reveal insights into their initiatives. Their approaches are adaptable and scalable and may be transferable to your own work.

Following the presentations, the attendees will participate in one of three breakout sessions co-facilitated by the cohort participants. The conversations will dive deeper into the systemic conditions that are limiting organizational capacity to unlock their artistic potential and provide ways forward for consideration.

The event will conclude with an informal and celebratory reception.

The event is free but you must register by October 10 in order to guarantee your place. Due to space limitations, however, Metcalf is asking organizations to register no more than two participants at this time.
