Are you a researcher interested in synthetic biology?

CRISPR is a promising gene-editing technology that enables efficient and precise genomic modifications. CRISPR/Cas9 system will empower scientists to be designers, remove former techniques limitations and calls for a new era for synthetic biology.

Join us on Thursday, October 19th from 1:00PM to 3:30PM at the Loyola campus GE 110.00 for this workshop that is designed to give you an overview of the CRISPR technology, demonstrating its innovative design and showcasing the startups who use the system, as well as introducing District 3’s initiatives in the realm of synthetic biology and entrepreneurship.

You’ll also hear from IDT (Integrated DNA technologies Inc.), District 3’s industry partner, who will go into more detail about the technical aspects of using the CRISPR system.
