Crossroads offers a free foster care information session a couple of times a month for those wanting to know more.
At this time Crossroads Family Services is only able to work with foster families who are able to foster full time, located in the greater Edmonton area, or in Central AB (including but not limited to Sylvan Lake, Wetaskiwin, Lacombe, Camrose, Ponoka). We hope to give you the information you need to better understand how fostering works, how we operate as a private agency, and provide you with a feeling of comfort and confidence in us. This is not for people who want to provide respite care only.
There is NEVER any obligation to become involved; we just want folks to have good information to make an informed decision. We are currently recruiting fulltime foster parents in the Edmonton and Central regions of Alberta.
