Description

It is impossible to ignore the presence of CRH (formally Holcim) in the world’s most widely used construction material market: cement.

CRH is the biggest producer of cement in Canada, with its colossal Mississauga Portland and Slag Cement Plant being one of the largest in North America. The plant supplies cement as far as western Canada, and has been in operation since 1956 under the name St. Lawrence Cement.

The morning event will commence with a light breakfast and coffee. This will be followed by a presentation on various cement products offered by CRH, including new innovative products that shape the future of sustainable construction in Canada. After the presentation, participants will receive a walking tour of the CRH Canada Mississauga Cement Plant.

The Speakers:

The presentation and tours will be conducted by Dennis Baker and Jasmine Samadi. Dennis Baker is a Senior Technical Rep with 32 years of experience with CRH, while Jasmine Samadi is a Junior Technical Rep with over 7 years of experience with the company.
