Join the CSDA and one of Canada's leading metalsmiths Wesley Harris, RCA. In this 'Makers Series', Wesley will highlight two smithing techniques represented in the creation of his tea service (photographed below). Additionally, Mr. Harris will discuss nature as a source of inspiration and how it appears in his work.

Biography:
Wesley Harris began silver work during high school. In 1981, he graduated with an MFA in Metalsmithing from Cranbrook Academy of Art. He worked as a commercial silver designer in the U. S. until 1986, then returned to Canada and began his career as a freelance silversmith. In 2015, Wesley was inducted into the RCA (Royal Canadian Academy of Arts). Wesley lives and works from Cornerbrook, Newfoundland
