This year's CSHP-BC Branch's Spring Therapeutics Update will be held at the Paetzold Auditorium in Vancouver General Hospital. Join us for 3 exciting talks from local experts over a delicious dinner.

6:15-6:30 PM: Greetings from CSHP-BC Branch Executive Council

6:30-7:00 PM Approach to Anemia

Dr. Leslie Zypchen, MD, FRCPC
UBC Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology

This presentation will address the approach to anemia in the non CDK patient, including aspects of the diagnosis and management. 

7:00-7:45 PM: Novel Diabetes Medications: Let's SAVOR the moment and EXAMINE the new agents to REGulate diabetes

Managing diabetes is now more complex than ever. Lots of new drugs and more controveries. This presentation will focus on the DPP-IV inhibitors and SGLT2 inhibitors and how and when to use them in practice.
