AN ‘ASE’ IN THE HOLE: AN UPDATE ON THROMBOLYTIC THERAPY IN ACUTE STROKE

Until 2015, acute stroke therapy had remained more or less stagnant for over a decade. Since that time, significant advances have been made with how we image the brain, which has allowed for more safe and effective use of thrombolytics in acute stroke care. During the session we will review the past, present and future of thrombolytic therapy in the management of acute stroke.
