NN103B Motivational Interview Skills | 10.5 hours | $232.50+Fees

This course introduces students to Motivational Interviewing (MI)—an approach to support clients in achieving positive behaviour change when addressing their health challenges. This course presents the background philosophy and components of Motivational Interviewing and outlines techniques to apply the principles when conducting holistic nutritional consultations. The student will be provided with resources and practice opportunities for integrating MI into the practice of holistic nutrition.

Please note that the required textbook, Motivational Interviewing in Health Care, by Stephen Rollnick, William Miller & Christopher Butler, is not included in the above price and that students are responsible to acquire the textbook either through the school or externally prior to the course start date.

Course Dates:

Class 1 - Fri, May 15 (9:30am-1pm)

Class 2 - Fri, May 22 (9:30am-1pm)

Class 3 - Fri, May 29 (9:30am-1pm)

Refund policy: Courses are fully refundable minus a $50+GST Admin Fee if requested 30+ days prior to the course start date. If requested between 7-30 days prior to the course start date, courses are 50% refundable. No refunds if requested within 7 days of the course start date.
