About this event
As we open our 17th year of Caribbean Tales Film Festival, it is Celebration Time! Our two short films Bomba Ancestral by Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi (Canadian Premiere) and Mas Prep by Shari Petti (World Premiere) ah-waken us to different aspects of lauding festivals while our Feature Film Toronto Caribbean Carnival: Fun and Free by Irina Volkova (Canadian Premiere) gives us a taste of how Carnival is uniquely celebrated in Canada's biggest city!

Covid-19 Protocols
On March 21st the Province of Ontario and the City of Toronto lifted mask mandates in public settings. The state of emergency was also lifted, along with all remaining mandates (i.e. capacity limits, social distancing). After considering the city's changes, CaribbeanTales International Film Festival has made the decision to remove the mask mandate.
Effective during festival dates (September 7-23), visitors, staff and audiences coming to CaribbeanTales International Film Festival will no longer be required to wear a mask. Masks are therefore recommended but not mandatory.
