How can communities become more involved in shaping their own future?
About this event
How can communities become more involved in shaping their own future? How do we ensure that planning processes are community-led, from concept to implementation? What are examples we can learn from or that might inspire us? This will be an open session focused on hearing from community members. Come and share your thoughts on what engagement could look like based on communities’ terms.
This session kicks off CUI x Halifax, an initiative designed by the Canadian Urban Institute to help us learn about the priorities, innovations, challenges, and bright spots from on-the-ground voices, deepening our collective understanding of the interconnected issues facing Canada’s urban communities.
This session is produced in partnership with Halifax Partnership, African Nova Scotian Road to Economic Prosperity, Develop Nova Scotia, and Canadian Urban Institute.
