Aimed for service providers that work within and surrounding the agricultural community. This workshop could help you to gain a better understanding of the experiences faced in this profession and develop strategies expand the resilience within the agricultural community. This webinar is free, English and open to all.
About the Speaker: Lauren Van Ewyk is an engaging speaker, registered social worker, foster mom and agricultural mental health advocate. She has appeared in numerous radio, television and print articles concerning the issues of adoption, foster care, mental wellness and mental health in the agriculture sector. She and her husband raise sheep in southwestern Ontario, and have developed a niche wool business that won a 2009 Regional Premiers Award of Excellence in Agri-food Innovation. Lauren works with businesses, individuals and families all across Canada to find hope and healing.
