A discussion of Johann Hari's "Lost Connections"
About this event
The Culture and Technology Book club brings readers together once a month to discuss new and classic books that raise important questions about the way technology transforms our cultural and political lives. The group will read on relevant topics related to social media, innovation, surveillance and digital identity.
This month we discuss British-Swiss journalist Johann Hari's book on depression in the modern age. Hari presents several technological problems that have contributed to an increase in depression in the Western world, as well as a few unique solutions to the problems that we are facing.
This event will take place on the 3rd floor of Toronto Reference Library in the Discussion room.
