Your are invited to attend a one day Culture workshop on Thursday, November
23rd at MacKenzie Hall, Gaelic College, St. Ann"s. The workshop will focus on
three items :
1) Understanding Culture Plans,
2) Current Culture Experiences offered and
3) Creating New Culture Experiences in Victoria County.

This workshop is part of the 3 year Victoria County Tourism Strategy and is hosted by Municipality of the County of Victoria Recreation & Tourism Dept. Ms. Joella Foulds will be our MC and Facitiator for the day.



The Program :

9:00 am. - 9:45 am. Registration
9:45 am. - 10:00 am. Welcome and Introductions
10:00 am. - 11:00 am. Understanding Culture Plans - A panel session chaired
by Ms. Joella Foulds
Nova Scotia Culture Action Plan - Marcel McKeough, Executive Director
NS. Dept. of Communities, Culture & Heritage
Cultural Sector Strategy (CB Partnership) - To be announced
CBRM - Creative Economy - To be announced


11:00 am. - 11:15 am. Coffee/Tea Break
11:15 am. - 11:45 am. Culture Experiences in Victoria County -
Ms. Yvette Rodgers, Outreach Co-ordinator, Celtic Colours

11:45 am. - 12:30 pm. Lunch


12:30 pm. - 1:00 pm. Creating Cultural Experiences
1:30 pm. - 2:00 pm. Reporting Back from Groups
2:00 pm.- 2:15 pm. Wrapup
