Event description
Join us for a free panel discussion with artists who bring the words of picture books to life.

About this Event

Please join us for a panel discussion with artists who bring the words of picture books to life through cutting, collaging, felting, sewing, quilting, or sculpture. What led them to create in these media? How do they go about creating? What inspires? What challenges? What does this approach lend to the telling of a story?

The panelists are: Barbara Reid (Picture the Sky), Lesley-Anne Green (Fox and Racoon; Juniper Hollow series), Thao Lam (My Cat Looks Like My Dad), Kalpna Patel (Alis the Aviator; written by Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail), and Soyeon Kim (You Are Never Alone, written by Elin Kelsey).

Located in the Lower Level, Basement.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Osborne and Lillian H. Smith Collections.

Free. Space is limited. No registration required.

For more information, contact the Osborne Collection at 416-393-7753.
