What is CVR 2017?

CVR 2017 is a world-class immersive VR and AR show. Now in its 2nd year, the event is growing from a one-day exhibit to a three-day event, with the first day being dedicated to industry and media.

Who organizes CVR?

CVR is developed and produced by the team at Archiact. Archiact is a VR studio which has offices in Vancouver and Shanghai.

Tell me about CVR 2016!

CVR 2016 was AMAZING with over 2,800 attendees, 30 speakers and 60+ exhibitors. The one-day event, held at the Vancouver Convention Centre, was a sold out success. Check out the CVR 2016 website HERE.

What’s New for CVR 2017?

Building on the success of 2016 we are excited to expand CVR 2017 to become a 3 day event! Friday, May 5th will be an industry-only day with speakers, panelists, exclusive demos, events, and much more. On May 6th and 7th, we will open up the exhibit hall to consumers and will also feature lots and lots of demos, exhibits and events focused on the VR and AR experience. Tickets will be available per day, as well as 2-day for the entire weekend.

Is this show just for VR Consumers?

No! CVR 2017 will feature specific programming for consumers and industry. A special Industry Day will be held on Friday, May 5th with special speakers and presentations, programming, and demos. This will be a show that appeals to all those interested in VR and AR.

What will I see at CVR 2017?

You will see demos, gaming, practical applications of VR and AR, speakers, music, lasers, live exhibits and so much more. This is definitely a show that will stimulate all your senses.

Is it safe to bring my kids?

CVR is a family-friendly show. There are, however, studies that indicate using headsets under the age of 13 is unsafe. There will be restrictions on some of the technology that kids can try at the show. Please keep in mind that the show floor will feature loud music, lasers, mature content and other elements that young children may find over-stimulating. All children under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by a paying adult.
