Event description

Description

You're invited to come celebrate the graduation of our Cycle #22 Frames Film Program participants!

We will be premiering our two newest short films (one narrative and one documentary) all based around the theme of "COMMUNITY SAFETY + CRIME PREVENTION".

From September to December 2019, the Frames Film Program partnered with Grandview-Woodlands Community Policing Centre Volunteers to bring to you it's first documentary film. This youth-made film features long-time Commercial Drive residents, visitors, business owners and artists of all ages and their unique perspectives of the area, how it's changed over time, and how we can continue to work together to make it a safe and vibrant community for all.

SCHEDULE:
7:00PM | Snacks + Refreshments
7:30PM | Opening Remarks
7:40PM | Film Screening
8:00PM | Graduation Ceremony
8:20PM | Q&A + Thank yous!

Come out and enjoy an evening of food, films and fun while congratulating our graduates on a job well done! We look forward to seeing you there =)

Oh yeah - and it's FREE - but donations are always welcomed.

Cycle #22 was made possible by the generous support of The BC Ministry of Justice and in partnership with the Grandview-Woodland Community Policing Centre.
