Dana Sipos inhabited the far north before going nomad and her hypnotic, tenderly skewed songs are filled with a wild wind. She has been touring extensively in support of her Canadian Folk Music nominated album Roll Up the Night Sky, occasionally by canoe, tall ship, bicycle and train. A haunting new album, Trick of the Light, recorded with experimental producer Sandro Perri, will be released on Toronto's Roaring Girl Records in May 2018.

Evening Hymns are sung from the cathedrals of talls trees. Core member singer-songwriter Jonas Bonnetta based in Mountain Grove, ON, captures the spirit of moments, of friends around a bonfire on a foggy beach, the crunching of snowshoes in the silence of a winter night and memories of tribal boys growing up with pellet guns, fishing and handmade forts. Their lastest album, Quiet Energies (2015), is a "...journey. A road trip album. A driving album. The rambling motif behind the lyrics is clear, and it resonates through the expansive synths and the reverb-soaked guitar riffs."

Recently, Jonas Bonnetta is branching out into the realm of ambient music with a new solo album dubbed All This Here, a reflection of a documentary Strange and Familiar: Architecture on Fogo Island, based on the construction of an inn and a series of artist studios on the Newfoundland island. It's due out April 27 via Idea of North Recordings.
