Who do I contact if I am late for pick up/ in case of emergency during the event?
We will post to the event facebook page (link) the day of the event the cell numbers of our registration desk- and we will have a message board if any messages need to be passed on
Why does it ask for my cell phone and email on the registration and my child's information?
We will not share any personal information however in case of emergency we ask for a bit of information about each ticket holder- name, age, allergies, emergency contact and school they attend.
What food if any is available?
We will provide a concession with baked goods and drinks. We are asking as many parents as possible who wish to contribute to the concession to drop off items at ESE gym on the 17th during the day. Ecole Squamish Elementary will be running the concession this year!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Only children in Grade 5-6 will be permitted from Squamish (Whistler and Pemberton welcome if they woiuld like as well)- tickets will only be sold at the door if there are any unsold ones by the 17th of Feb however last year the event sold out so best to have tickets for each student!
This event is put on by the french school but my child doesn't speak french will they have fun?
Ecole les Aiglons PAC has as one of their mandates to be a leader in the Squamish community in creating opportunities for both anglophone AND francophone kids and parents to celebrate francophone language and culture both here in Squamish and beyond. As such, your child will hear some french spoken by the MC, DJ and volunteers AND will also be 100% comfortable if they speak english all evening. Encourage your child to try the following words for fun... BONJOUR (hello), MERCI (thank you), BONSOIR (good evening), Je m'appelle (My name is...) and others!
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please provide your children with a small amount of cash to purchase food from the concession.
It goes without saying there is absolutely zero tolerance for alcohol, smoking or drugs.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Any questions please feel free to visit the Facebook event page (Link) or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes it is, please tell the child you are transfering ticket to however that they will have to give the original ticket holder's name at registration.
Can I update my registration information?
