Event description
Inspired by the work of Brene Brown, Lauralyn Blackburn, MSW, Clinical RSW, CDWF, will be offering The Daring Way training.

About this event

The Daring Way™ - May 22-23, 2020 (in Milden, Saskatchewan)

The Daring Way™ is a two-day, highly experiential intensive training based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown. This training is based on Dr. Brown’s book, Daring Greatly! The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

During this intensive workshop we will explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thought, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and identify new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living.

Further information is available at www.thedaringway.com.

ADDITIONAL UPCOMING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS:

Rising Strong Workshop™ - July 16-17, 2020

$495 early bird until May 1, $595 regular (in Milden, Saskatchewan)

Rising Strong Workshop™ - This workshop is based on the research Dr. Brené Brown presents in her book Rising Strong. The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. This workshop is about getting back up. Rising Strong: The Reckoning, The Rumble, The Revolution teaches us what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.

The work is suitable for professionals, mental health therapists, teachers, individuals, couples, families, work teams and organizational leaders who enjoy doing deep work.

Training may be eligible for CanSask Job Grant funding that may cover two-thirds of the tuition cost for the training with the purchase of both programs. Apply for the Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant here. Onsite accommodation can be arranged.

Based in the tranquil retreat setting at BridgePoint Center for Eating Disorders in Milden, Saskatchewan. Onsite accommodation is available.
