PETER HUDSON (HEADLINER) - Peter Hudson is a mainstay of the Vancouver Island comedy scene who has entertained audiences throughout western Canada. Known to comedians across the country as the Mayor of Nanaimo (or … Known across the country as Nanaimo’s Comedy mayor), Peter taps into daily life to bring you hilarious takes on work, family, and his own quirks and misadventures.

His comedy is raw and colourful, whether he’s describing growing up as a redhead, working blue collar jobs, or “living green” (in more than one way) on the west coast. Known for his ability to rev up a crowd with his high energy, exuberant, and always entertaining comedy, Peter will get you laughing and won’t let you stop until he thinks you’ve had enough.

His credits include Just For Laughs Northwest,Winner 2016 Yuk Yuks Victoria Yuk Off, Winner 2013 Calgary Funnyfest Talent Search, Rifflandia. Working with such acts as Jon Lovitz, Tom Green,Jake The Snake Roberts,Broken Lizard Group to name a few.

BO JAGGER ESSERY - Bo Jagger comes from Ingersoll Ontario, studied guitar building, moved to Victoria and because he HATES money, decided to go into standup comedy. He runs 4 rooms in Victoria and can be seen around the city performing for audiences as small as 4 and as large as 5. He's been described as endearing and "a cute little guy" , but also as dark, angry and "I don't like you going up first, it's too much".

BRENDAN WASHBERN - Brendan Washbern is the most versatile comedian in the game right now. He’s had his prank calls featured on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show as well as in Vice News. He is currently travelling cross western Canada doing standup comedy. When he’s not on stage he’s riding a quad. Buckle up!

MICHAEL O BEDFORD - Born and raised in British Columbia, with a big heart, sharp wit and dark sense of humor which is always entertaining! Catch Michael performing all over the island!

DAVID SWEENEY STANFORD - Dave Stanford was born in the Shire, all the way across the sea in damp England. Raised on mushy peas and a dangerous sense of humour, shaped by his bonkers experiences around the world that include serving in the Commandos, the police, a funky disco DJ, mountain bike guide, plus a brief stint as dairy herdsman and numerous jobs that round out an apocalyptic résumé, which includes: the Norway Trilogy, the dairy herd massacre and Dolphin Wanking! All of which, barring any future height restrictions, have thankfully led him to our quaint island and a microphone.

DEVAN JOSHI (YOUR HOST!) - Stand Up Comedian born and raised in Edmonton Alberta. Started his career in Toronto, he has performed for audiences all over the country. Using his life experience to make sense of the world, he has a humour that is relatable for any audience. Catch him performing all over the Island and see it for yourself!
