Data Carpentry Workshop: Data Analysis and Visualization with Python

U of T Coders is hosting a hands-on two-day Data Carpentry workshop covering core small research team skills. Through short tutorials and practical exercises, attendees will learn:

  • Data organization and cleaning

  • Data analysis and visualization with Python

  • Skills for reproducible scientific analysis

You don't need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop.

When: September 10-11, 9 am - 4:30 pm

Where: MADLab, Gerstein Science Information Centre, 9 King's College Circle, Room B112

Cost: $25

Refunds are available and will be issued until 11:59 pm EST on Friday, September 7.

Requirements: Participants must bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating system (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.) that they have administrative privileges on.

Coffee and snacks will be available but please bring your own lunch or be prepared to purchase lunch on campus.
