About this event
During your visit you’ll have time to explore the exhibits in our Cosmic Courtyard gallery, watch a show in the Planetarium Star Theatre and our take in a live science demonstration in our GroundStation Canada theatre. Shows in the planetarium will change throughout the day - see details below.
Our programming is recommended for families with children ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by adults. One ticket must be purchased for each member of your group.
Tickets for children ages 3 and under, who do not need their own seat in our theatres, are available at no cost.

- 10:00am: Cosmic Courtyard Gallery and Groundstation Live Science Demonstration
- 11:05am: Planetarium Show: Mars: One Thousand One* is a fictional account of the IRIS 1 first manned mission to Mars. Experience an unprecedented 1,001-day expedition, encountering the challenges and adventure of space travel. After spending nearly seven months navigating to Mars, the crew successfully lands and conducts experiments to learn if life on Mars is a possibility before splashing down and welcomed home by an elated planet Earth.

- 11:15am: Cosmic Courtyard Gallery and Groundstation Demonstration
- 12:20pm: Surfing the Solar System* - See the solar system as you’ve never seen it before – leave Earth behind to tour some of the most intriguing destinations in our solar system and find out more about some of the latest discoveries about our neighbouring planets.
12:15pm - 2:25pm

- 12:30pm: Cosmic Courtyard Gallery and Groundstation Demonstration
- 1:35pm: Planetarium Show: From Earth to the Universe* - Take a voyage through time and space and revel in the splendor of the worlds in our Solar System and then travel to our Milky Way and beyond. Discover more about the history of astronomy, the invention of the telescope and how telescopes allow us to probe even deeper into the Universe.
1:30pm - 3:40pm

REGISTRATION
Select your desired time slot and purchase a ticket for each member of your party.
PLEASE NOTE: Eventbrite online ticket sales end at 8:45 a.m. for that day's programming. If you would like to book a same-day visit after online ticket sales have closed additional tickets may be available at the front desk.
VISITING US
Masking is optional at our facility, and we will not require proof of vaccination for entry. We continue to recommend masks and will have masks available to guests who wish to wear one but do not have their own masks.

Ample paid parking is available in front of the Space Centre building (Parking Lot #60 on the Easy Park app).
