About this Event
Let’s spend a half-day on retreat. Join us for two sessions of meditations to de-stress and decompress. These meditation sessions are geared toward overcoming fear, stress, and anxiety.
In this retreat, we will be given meditation techniques to apply in our daily life and two sessions of guided meditation practice. By engaging in retreat with these simple meditations, we will experience the benefits of inner peace and calm. We can carry this calm into our daily life by continuing these meditations at home on our own by establishing a simple meditation practice.
Each session will consist of a short teaching on the benefits of a meditation, short prayers to prepare our mind for meditation by establishing a good heart, followed by a guided meditation.
Schedule
- Session 1: 10:00 – 11:00am
- Session 2: 11:30am – 12:30pm
$12 for one session (at the door.* $8 for Supporting Members)
$20 for both ($15 Supporting Members)

NOTE: With new COVID restrictions in place, we can accommodate only five people in person at the Centre. Pre-registration is recommended if you want to attend in person. Social distancing and special hygiene protocols will be in place, and please do not come to the Centre if you feel unwell. This class is also streamed online.
