About this Event

Some benefits of jumping rope are:

-higher caloric burn than other forms of cardio

-lower impact than running

-helps sync the left and right sides of the brain, as well as the upper and lower hemispheres of the body

-full body workout

The class with be interval like training - doing body weight movements and jump rope as you go!

A little more about Deana:

Deana has been CrossFitting for 9 years and coaching it for 4 years at CrossFit San Mateo.

During her previous life in corporate, she spent many years only having the gym or CrossFit to look forward to. Deana has known, all too well, the pressures and busyness life has for most of us and understands the sacredness of that one hour a few times a week that people get to be present, forget their worries and focus fully on themselves.

For her, moving her body and working out has been her refuge during trying times. What has always remained is that this allows her to feel like more of herself.

It is this philosophy Deana impacts on others. 'Do what makes you feel like more of you.'

Jumping rope has entered her life in the last year, and since she was introduced to the benefits, fun and variety jumping rope provides, she hasn’t been able to put the rope down!

Doors will open 15 minutes early before class in order to sign waivers - class will begin at 8:30 am!

Jump ropes will be provided - just bring yourself, water, and a positive attitude!

We can't wait to sweat with you - snacks and refreshments will be provided after the class.
