3:00pm-5:00pm Workshop - How do you Evaluate the Financial Health of your Business? Finance for Life Science Companies Workshop
Financial Modeling is essential to business, and the aim of the workshop is to provide entrepreneurs in the life sciences with practical skills in using accounting data to make decisions, and in reading financial statements to effectively manage their business, to converse with investors, stakeholders and bookkeepers on a more interactive level.
This workshop is designed to show the entrepreneur how to read and use key data from the financial statements, to understand how a business manages its profitability and cash flow.The 2 hour workshop will use the two main statements, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement, to manage the cash flow cycle from purchases to banking the cash.
By the end of the workshop, candidates will be able to efficiently read the main financial statements, and using a number of key figures, develop a story line of the effectiveness of the business in generating sales revenue through to cash flow.
