2:30-3:30 p.m. - Snack on ‘brain healthy’ refreshments & learn from the CCNA’s research trainees

BIOS

Dr. Carol Greenwood focuses on the relationship between diet and brain health, including how diet-associated chronic diseases contribute to an increased risk of cognitive decline and dementia with aging.

Dr. Manuel Montero-Odasso’s research focuses on how mobility in older people can predict frailty, falls, and dementia. He has an enduring interest in how to treat mobility and cognitive decline with exercises combined with cognitive training and Vitamin D.

Dr. Belchior studies the impact of cognitive training, using computer and video game, on everyday activities among older adults with and without cognitive impairment.
