At the gala, we will listen to brilliant speakers and award our talented colleagues while enjoying lively music from the Ron Paley Big Band.
Start the evening off by exploring the Manitoba Museum galleries including the Nonsuch Gallery. Reception and exploration will start at 5:30 pm with dinner starting at 7:00 pm.
Our night’s keynote speaker will be award-winning journalist André Picard, health reporter and columnist for the Globe and Mail. Picard is the author of five best-selling books and was named Canada’s first “Public Health Hero” by the Canadian Public Health Association. He has been awarded six honorary degrees, including one from the University of Manitoba
The event will integrate virtual and in-person components to allow us to network and celebrate DFM accomplishments across the province.
