Event description

Description

“Mistakes? We don't make mistakes.”

In a retro-future world, a low-level bureaucrat in the nation's Ministry of Information who tries to correct an administrative error becomes an enemy of the state. Terry Gilliam's visually dazzling dystopian masterpiece of a totalitarian state is bleaker than Orwell and Kafka yet resonates strongly today.

Prior to the screening, series host Nathalie Atkinson and Oscar-winning production designer Paul Austerberry (THE SHAPE OF WATER, IT: Chapter 2) discuss BRAZIL's maximalist visual sensibility
