Detroit + Toronto: Drivers for a Healthy City (a Symposium) is a day to explore the urban issues at stake for two cities linked by a history of industry, trade, and culture. Join developers, entrepreneurs, politicians, city staff, urbanists, and innovators from both Detroit and Toronto as they discuss and debate the opportunities for the future of these two great cities. The day will contain a total of four presentation sessions in the morning and afternoon. Registration for the Symposium is $90 and includes morning and afternoon sessions, continental breakfast and refreshments.
Following the Symposium, we celebrate with Toronto the Good, a party thrown each year by ERA Architects (usually in the spring, but this year coinciding with the Symposium) to celebrate Toronto and mull over its history and evolution with fellow architects, designers, thinkers, and urban-minded folk.
Free admission; cash bar for the party. Doors open at 6:30.
While we encourage people to attend both, attendance at the symposium isn't required to join the party.
All are welcome!
