William Hodge (juror for the Fibre Content Show 2018) and Robert Wylie of Armure Studios will use examples from current and recent exhibitions at the AGB to illustrate some of the most common problems artists face when creating original art works. Along with analysis of other art works; information on learning and developing design skills will be discussed, to round out this professional development opportunity for participants in the creation of their own original work. Feedback from this lecture will determine the interest in running a series of lectures to assist artists in the development of strong visual works.

Welcome to the Art Gallery of Burlington. AGB is an award winning, public gallery located in the heart of Burlington, Ontario.  We stage as many as 20 exhibitions a year and are home to an acclaimed collection of Canadian contemporary ceramics and seven fine craft guilds.
