Developer Pitch Fest

Come together with the Toronto Developer community, and hear from some local companies on all the interesting and innovative things they are doing. Learn about the tech stack these companies are using, why it works best for their product/service, what their team dynamic is like, and why you should be excited about them!

Hosted by Devhub, the community hub for developers of all levels, this night will have local tech companies pitching themselves to you! Meet and mingle with not just these great companies but also other like-minded developers, including Lighthouse Labs alumni and mentors!

The event is a great opportunity for mutual exchange, and a fun way to learn about use cases!

Aidan is a self-taught engineer and cofounder at Connie, where he and the team are building a media player for instructions. chef Connie is the company's first release, which makes cooking more convenient by turning any online recipe into interactive, step-by-step instructions for your screens and voice assistants. Available on Google Chrome, Alexa, and Google Assistant. You cook as usual, we keep your place.


Michelle Ark - Data Engineer, Shopify
At Shopify, they empower 600,000+ entrepreneurs all over the world. They're looking for hard-working, passionate people to help us make commerce better. For over 10 years, Shopify has been super driven in using data insights to help drive their product direction and make things better for merchants.


Ben Pierce - Director of Data Services, Xello
Ben is the Director of Data Services at Xello, a Toronto-based developer of award winning ed-tech software for school-aged children in North America.
