Event description

Description

For more than a century, journalists, pulp fiction authors, and serious historians have produced largely fictitious accounts of the life of Cherokee statesman Ned Christie.

Devon A. Mihesuah discusses her new book on Ned Christie, a tour-de-force of investigative scholarship, which offers a far more accurate depiction of Christie and the times in which he lived.

In conversation with Falen Johnson, Mohawk playwright and writer, and host of CBC podcast "The Secret Life of Canada."
