Event description
"Tides of Changes" Overdose Prevention and Response invites you to join us for an evening of support, connection, and shared wisdom

About this event

Overdose. It is any family’s biggest fear when a loved one is using substances and never more so than over the past 5 years of BC’s public health emergency due to the toxic drug supply. Many families feel overwhelmed and alone with how to deal with this fear and how to approach their loved one. The Tides of Change Community Action Team on Overdose Prevention and Response invites you to join us for an evening of support, connection and shared wisdom from a panel of people with lived and living experience who have used opioids and other substances and family members who have come to find some way to be in connection with their loved ones while maintaining their own well-being.

  • Refreshments and light snacks provided
  • Support people will be present to provide resources
  • Naloxone training will be available

Capacity is limited so please reserve your tickets early. More tickets may become available closer to the event. Vaccine passport required for in-person attendees.

This is a hybrid event and online attendance is possible over Zoom, there is a phenomenal Zoom bar in the room so it will be like you are at the event.
