About this event
In this second program in the “Bach Home” series, beloved Dutch cellist Diederik van Dijk performs Bach’s Cello Suite No. 4 in E-flat and a duo with celebrated Canadian dancer/choreographer Shannon Litzenberger, followed by a solo reflection by jazz pianist Florian Hoefner. Shannon will also collaborate with Florian and clarinetist Christine Carter in the world premiere performance of a newly created trio. Diederik, Christine, and Florian close out the program with Florian’s whimsical new work, “Kinds of Blue,” incorporating original poetry celebrating the blues on our planet by Griffin Poetry Prize-winner Don McKay.
