Learn about lighting, composition and digital cinematography techniques for short dramatic film production.

About this Event

This workshop is for residents of the Town of Wasaga Beach.

Social Distancing Requirements (In-Person): Face mask and/or shield required to participate in this workshop. Physical distancing in effect. Contact tracing in effect. You must be a member of the Wasaga Beach Public Library and a valid library card is required for entry into workshop.

Event may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

No experience required.

Recommended Age: Adults and Teens 13+

With Instructor and Filmmaker Tom Strnad: Tom has produced over 20 feature films and post-production supervised over 15 television series. His productions have screened at over 300 international film festivals including TIFF, SXSW, FIPA, Montreal and VIFF, and have been nominated for Canadian Screen Awards. Tom is a recipient of financing from ONCreates, Telefilm Canada, NFB Canada and Canada Council for the Arts.
