On February 19th Brenda Edel will join with the SNDW to discuss living with a disability on the campaign trail and facilitate an educational group activity.

Background

The Saskatchewan NDP has the first new party wing in almost ten years! The Saskatchewan New Democrats Disability Advocates (SNDDA for short) was approved at the October 2021 convention. This is exciting news for the future of the Party and for all those who identify with a disability. At its first AGM held shortly after convention, Brenda Edel of Rosetown-Elrose became President of the new wing. As one of its first projects, the SNDDA is developing resources and training to help constituencies consider their activities through an accessibility lens.
