About this event
Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade in so-called America, conversations around sexual & reproductive health have only intensified. As key pillars to fostering public health, both reproductive justice and disability justice frameworks fundamentally challenge the deprivation of personal, political & bodily autonomy/agency. From advocating for the right to accessible and dignified health care, to centering the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, class and disability, it is clear that the foundations and outcomes of these movements are deeply intertwined and inseparable. Disability and intersectionality can no longer be sidelined in conversation of sexual health. Reproductive justice is disability justice, and vice versa.
