WEEK 1: Wednesday, October 4
NS Craft Cider + Cider Mixology
Host: Alex Boivin, Wine & Cider Maker at Bulwark Cider
Bulwark Craft Cider is a traditional cider made with 100% freshly pressed apples from the famed Annapolis Valley that are then fermented and bottled, all under one roof. This year, the makers behind Bulwark cider brand have expanded to include two new brands, with 7 Shores ciders and Mad Fiddler Hard Ginger Ale. Learn firsthand from Nova Scotia’s best-selling cider brand about their cider-making process, great fall food pairings with cider, and different ways to mix it up through delicious cider cocktails.

WEEK 2: Wednesday, October 11
Barrel Aged Beer
Hosts: Peter Burbridge, North Brewing Co. & Mark Huizink, 2 Crows Brewing
Today, many craft brewers are using wood to influence the flavour and aromatics of their beers, by aging them in barrels. Barrel-aged brews can represent the height of a brew master's talent and passion, as it makes for the most complex expression possible in terms of the aroma, taste, mouth feel and finish. Learn more about how the unique character of wood can be imparted on a beer with one of Halifax's original craft breweries, North Brewing, and one of its newest, 2 Crows Brewing.

The (Un)traditional Autumn Beers of Boxing Rock Brewing Co.

Hosts: Emily Tipton & Henry Pedro, Beer Engineers / Co-Founders, Boxing Rock Brewing Co.
What makes an autumn beer? Do seasonal beers have to follow the seasons? Learn all about autumn seasonal beer varieties, then challenge that information. This fits with the Boxing Rock Brewing Co's tag line that our products are both Legendary and (un)traditional, helping customers to think outside the box and have fun learning and trying NS Craft Beer.

WEEK 4: Wednesday, October 25
