Discover Local YYJ is an economic initiative created and hosted by the Victoria Women's Professional Group to promote the small businesses in the Greater Victoria Area that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to raise awareness of these businesses to Victoria residents and stimulate our economy not just for the short term, but for the future.

We have partnered with 125 locally owned and operated small businesses to provide discounts and special offers to the residents of Victoria between August 15th and September 15th. Participants purchase a ticket (otherwise known as a "Discover Pass") online for $20, then use it to claim over $2,500 worth of free promotions and discounts offered by our vendors during the 15 days.

HOW TO REDEEM PROMOTIONS WITH YOUR DISCOVER PASS:

Please visit our Vendor Directory and click on the individual vendor profiles to learn about each unique #DiscoverLocalYYJ promotion, how to redeem the offer as well as all their contact information (phone number, email, website and social media).

For those vendors you schedule an appointment with:

• Contact the vendor between August 15th and September 15th to book your appointment with them. Your appointment can be after September 15th as long as you contact and book with the vendor sometime between August 15th and September 15th.

For those vendors with online stores providing discounts:

• You will receive a Discover Local YYJ email from us in the evening of August 14th with the discount codes you can use vendors' websites between August 15th and September 15th. If you have any technical difficulties using the code, please contact the vendor directly.

For those vendors with a physical store:

• Visit the store during the August 15th to September 15th and show your mobile Discover Pass at the time of your purchase. If you unsure or uncomfortable visiting stores in-person, please contact the vendor directly to speak about other arrangements.

Please note that vendors may require you to physically show proof of your Discover Pass. We highly recommend downloading the Eventbrite App on your mobile device so you can pull up your ticket easily.
