Made up of an archipelago comprising more than 17.000 islands with about 300 different ethnic groups. Each cultural identity developed over centuries, and been influenced by Indian, Arabic, Chinese, and European origins. It is one of the most rapidly developing countries steeped with a depth of cultural elegance.

Come in, take a seat and relax as we take you on a journey of traditional music and dance from the tip of Aceh across 2 million square miles of land and sea to the very end of Irian Jaya (Papua).

This Indonesian Cultural Festival is presented to you by 170 Indonesian students and educators who traveled all the way to the United States to study American culture and english language. As an expression of their gratitude, this performance is FREE-entry for the American public, especially to the UCSD community who have been such graceful hosts to our group.

Don't forget to print out your tickets and bring them with you. Your tickets will be e-mailed to you as soon as you reigster and you can print your tickets at home.
