Join us on March 23, 2021 at 1:00pm for an hour-long virtual presentation by Renee Barrette from the IPC. You will learn about the role of Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner, the privacy and access rights and obligations under Ontario’s public sector laws, and the challenges arising from the pandemic.
This event will be hosted on Zoom. Registrants will be emailed the meeting invitation prior to March 23rd.
About Renee Barrette
Renee is the Director of Policy with the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s law school, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1984. Renee manages a team of eight policy analysts who conduct research, educate the public and raise awareness of Ontario’s access and privacy laws. The policy department also works with government institutions to ensure compliance with our access and privacy laws. Renee began her career working in private practice and in various other public sector capacities. She joined the IPC in 2003.
