GLC Alberta Edmonton is excited to hold its inaugural event, providing a unique opportunity to legal professionals and students to network.

About this Event

Our Alberta Chapter is pleased to announce the Edmonton inaugural launch event, scheduled to start at 1:00 PM on June 15, 2019, to be held at the Heritage Room, City Hall, Edmonton, Alberta. The program includes a panel discussion on challenges faced by Articling Students during their Articling year in Alberta for locally trained and internationally trained lawyers and an interactive discussion with the audience. Our panel comprises of Mr. Chady Moustarah, Ms. Deborah Kay, and Mr. Arman Chak. Our keynote speaker is Honourable Kelechi (Kaycee) Madu, Minister of Municipal Affairs for the Province of Alberta. Mr. Madu will be sharing his perspective on the importance of Diversity and Inclusion in the Legal Profession. Law Students, Students At Law, Practising Lawyers, Internationally Trained Lawyers and Members of the Community are welcome to attend.
