Come hear from industry leaders about the importance of attracting diverse talent. Learn from the unique lenses in which they experience the world of technology and business. Engage in a stimulating conversation about ways we as individuals and organizations can be more inclusive and begin to attract and retain top talent.

Join big river technologies inc., The Town of Gananoque, The Township of Leeds and The Thousand Islands, The Chamber of Commerce, OMAFRA, and KEYS Job Centre at The Thousand Islands Playhouse – Firehall Theatre for networking, refreshments and what is sure to be a stimulating panel discussion.

All proceeds will be put towards an education award to an under represented Gananoque Senior pursuing a degree in the STEM field .



Event Schedule:

6:30 pm – Registration/Networking

7:00 pm – Panel Discussion Start

8:30 pm – Questions from Audience

9:00 pm – Networking until 10pm


The panelists leading the conversation are:

Laura Kittner - Principal Owner at Tangent, a global marketing and software development agency out of Kingston. Additionally, Laura, is a St. Lawrence College Professor of Advertising and Marketing Communications. She started her career working for PrintFleet in Gananoque.

Peng Sang Cau – Founder, President, and CEO of Transformix a global automation technology firm out of Kingston revolutionizing the manufacturing industry. Peng started her company out of her Kingstonian basement with 3 engineers in 1995.

Billy Snow – User Experience Lead based out of New York at Northwestern Mutual co-leading a group of designers responsible for the company's product line and self-service tools of the digital client experience. Billy studied Architecture before transitioning to his tech career where he worked for AOL, Fluid Inc., and CityLAB.

Alix Keller – Technology Leader at ConsenSys, a global cryptocurrency firm harnessing the power of Ethereum. She has a 20-year career developing hundreds of pieces of software. Alix also hosts a podcast that sheds light on Diversity and Inclusion.
