In this Introduction to Cross Stitch holiday exclusive at Queen of Hearts Coffee and Tea House in Kitchener, learn the basics of one of the simplest forms of embroidery, counted cross stitching, with some fun holiday greeting card designs.

Throughout our 2-hour workshop, you will learn how to prep your card and needle, how to start your first stitch, how to wrap up your thread, how to personalize your cards with different types of thread, while working through a set of holiday greeting cards for the season! You will leave this workshop learning a new skill and taking home a set of holiday greeting cards to gift.

All materials and supplies are provided. This is a hands-on workshop where participants will receive :

• a set of holiday greeting cards, handmade envelopes, gold seals
• a tapestry needle
• a variety of DMC embroidery thread and beads to complete the cards

Beginners are welcomed. Experience is not required, so come stitch back and relax at this new tea house in KW.
